I completed my Master’s “Research in Neuroscience-Neurobiology” as part of an exchange with Western Washington University, WA, USA and Université de Lyon, France. I got passionate about neuroscience while learning about Huntington’s Disease with Dr. Jeff Carroll at WWU.

I received my PhD in 2018 from the Grenoble Institute of Neuroscience in France. My doctoral work focused on understanding the cleavage of BDNF, a neurotrophin with a dichotomous role in neuron survival, growth and differentiation. I

I then worked with Dr. Catherine Peña at Princeton University. I studied early-life stress at the epigenetic level, and used tools to tag and track early-life-responsive cells and manipulate them during additional stress to alter anxiety-like phenotypes

I joined PAnTher in November 2023 and I study the neuromuscular junction in the context of Pompe Disease and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
