Cindy Schleder

I hold a technician degree in biochemistry, which allow me to work in various areas of research such as biotechnologies, cosmetics and pharmacology.

Since 2005, I’ve dedicated my skills and knowledge to life science research. During 6 years, I worked with INSERM unit 533/915, where I used molecular techniques to analyze the signaling pathways regulating smooth muscle cells contractility and arterial tone.

I joined PanTher in 2013 and I now contribute to the development of cellular therapeutic agents. I am mainly responsible for the production and characterization of adult human stem cells derived from muscle. These MuStem cells are the main candidate in our approach to treating myopathies. I am also optimizing protocols for in vitro preparation of these cells for clinical applications.
